There is no other time for the empowerment of women than now!
This event is for all women, regardless of age-color-religion-ability-weight-whatever "label" that exists... just doesn't matter.
This is for all chics, sisters, moms, grandmoms... do your first tri, your 50th tri, do a relay team, show off, be happy, be alive!
This is Richmond's only all women's sprint triathlon hosted by the Midlothian YMCA
THERE WILL BE ALL MALE VOLUNTEERS!
Themed aid stations along the run course.
The run course is very scenic through the woods and a neighboring lake.
All the swag can be pink, magenta, fushia, purple...
The race director is female, a mom, and a triathlete, she may know what you like :)
It's near the end of summer, you have all summer to train, kids & back to school activities have not started yet! It's your time ladies!

This event was full its inaugural year in 2009, don't wait! The swim is in a 25 meter outdoor pool. The bike is on road, rolling, 11 miles through Chesterfield county! The run route will go through adjoining neighborhoods. This event benefits the Bright Beginnings Back to School Program of YMCA Giving Campaign.

There are divisions for everyone. Individual, relays, athena ( over 150lbs), and aquabike (swim-bike only).

The lotus flower is symbolic of life itself, spiritual awakening, beauty, and openness to new possibilities.

PINT GLASS SERIES AWARD:

Richmond Multisports produces 7 triathlons. Anyone who races 4 out of 6 races (Rocketts Landing, GroundForce Power Sprint, I Love the Tavern, Pink Power, Napier Realtors Richmond Sprint, and Naylor's Beach) will receive a commemorative pint glass & series certificate! Power Kids is not included in the series but Pink Power is for women. Good Luck!
